Josh Poole and Travis Wellman: Authors

We write everything from short stories and poetry to Science Fiction and Fantasy Novels.

It’s been quiet… too quiet…

Well, it’s been a while since we posted anything here. Too long in fact. We haven’t been quiet because there was nothing happening though. It’s actually the opposite.

Since our last update on here, we have been hard at work crafting some of the best novels that we have ever written. We’ve also been doing more editing than is healthy for mental stability. Right now we’re gearing up to participate in another DVPitch event this fall and to query one of our new stories to a list of agents that we’ve compiled as being good matches.

We’re also finishing up our newest novel, Heir to the Wind, which is an urban fantasy YA adventure that is inspired by my (Travis) Hungarian ancestry and puts a modern twist on Hungarian mythology. And when we’re not working on any of those things we’re editing our comedic high fantasy novel CPA.

So this is an exciting time for us with many irons in the fire, but it’s meant that we’re also insanely busy. Too busy to spend time crafting more short stories. We promise we’ll return to those once we clear our plates a little, as they are so much fun to write.

In the meantime, check out my newest published poem, When the Fire Goes here: https://waqueeranth.omeka.net/items/show/537
